We're almost ready to begin the Summer 2011 India House Youth Cricket Clinic!
We must admit -- when we announced the Spring Practices, we didn't expect the response that we received. We had nearly twice as many cricketers during our Spring session than any other time in the two years we've been conducting the clinic. As our clinic grows, we'll need to make some adjustments. Thank you for being so patient with us and for your continued patience.
Our Summer 2011 clinic sessions will be on Friday evenings (6pm to 8pm) and Sunday mornings (7:30am to 9:30am). As we did in the Spring, we will most likely need to divide our cricketers into two groups -- one group will attend on Fridays, the other group will attend on Sundays. The clinic sessions will begin on July 15th and continue through August 28th, so each group will have seven sessions.
As with our past Summer clinics, we will have an Awards ceremony at the end of the session. We'll provide more details about that later.
The entry fee for the Summer Clinic will be $30 per child. We will also need to get a new registration form for each cricketer. You can download the registration form using this link:
It would be a great help if you could download and complete the form before attending the first session. It's usually pretty hectic on that first day.
Please let me know if your child will be attending this Summer's Clinic by sending an e-mail to curtking@gmail.com. As soon as we have the list of those that will be participating, we can let you know whether you're assigned to Fridays or Sundays. Please let me know if you're unable to attend on one of those days so that we can assign you to the other one.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. We'll also be at the India House Ground this Sunday morning from 9am to 11am for our adult practice -- if you'd like to drop by then and see us (or hand in your registration form and entry fee), we'd be happy to see you.
Thanks,
Curt
